Our Focus Areas

To ensure sustainability within our communities, Township Fleva has developed programs to enrich entrepreneurial lives.
Our Enterprise and Supplier Development activities comprise of Business Hub Management which allows us to partner with corporate organisations by providing access to business hubs in township communities where township entrepreneurs have a professional working space. Through our Incubation Programmes,  entrepreneurs have  access to information, business coaching, mentorship and training, business equipment and tools to grow their businesses.  We help sustain their businesses and ensure they are linked with relevant companies as suppliers.
We understand how challenging it is for township entrepreneurs to get access to funding,  this is why together with credible financial institutions we introduced the Spana programme, which offers township entrepreneurs access to funding to the value of R50 000.00.
Located in the township of Orange Farm, our retail manufacturing factory allows graduates from our Fashion & Design Program to put theory into practice as manufacturers of the textile  products produced in the factory. Products manufactured at the factory are sold in major  retailers –e.g. our Christmas Stockings and Easter Hunt Bags that have allowed us to have a successful relationship with Woolworths for over 4 years, to corporate gifting and clothing.
Our Agriculture activities encompass livestock, egg-laying chickens, honey production and aquaponic vegetation.  Over and above this, we give agricultural skills to township youth through our Agripreneurship Program. An opportunity for young people who are passionate  about food security and eradicating extreme poverty to develop the relevant skills to pursue their passion.

  • Trendsetting. Fashion. Innovation.

    Retail Manufacturing:

Born from a desire to create opportunities for the unemployed youth, Retail Manufacturing aims to empower and equip the youth with the necessary skills they need to thrive. The Retail Manufacturing division increases the domestic production of products in the townships, creating more jobs (especially for the youth) and growing the economy one fashionable item at a time.

  • We empower. We innovate. We create.

We partner with retail and corporate clients like Woolworths, Momentum, GMPF and Rhiza Babuyile to create unique, beautiful and high-quality pieces that reflect the energy and fleva of the township.

  • We source local. We buy local. We produce local.

But we don’t stop there… we go the extra mile. We source local materials too, ensuring that every product made is as local as you can get.
